Observation ~: <br /> <br />The points a.~Sig~¢d to each district were based upon a blending of the individual district <br />components: :!dcn-'iified at the July 30, 1992 Park and Recreation Commission Capital <br />Improveme~t~i W~kshop. These items do not necessarily reflect the most important or highest <br />cost park n¢~: in i~ hat district, but rather an assemblage of f'rrst step needs or items that might fit <br />within a sin~e !y~ r's budget request. Once complete developmental park plans are formulated for <br />each park, the ~t~ cost for each district can be estimated and a development program based on the <br />point criteria _ e enacted upon whatever schedule the City can accommodate. The intent is to <br />fully dev¢l°P ~eig ,~borhood parks as opposed to the incremental shotgun approach. <br />Even though t ae JOints assigned, to a degree, reflect a measurement of individual components, it <br />does parallel tire atiention the City should pay to the recreational needs of the district. <br /> <br /> ? <br /> <br /> <br />
