These are the blue signs that appear along Highway #10 as travelers <br />head out ot~'~e Metro Area. I have requested signs for the following businesses: <br /> <br /> 1) Armstrong Ranch Kennels <br /> 2) Ramsey Athletic Club <br /> <br />If these sigr s ~ approved, the City could look at the addition of more signs to advertise new <br />service type; o[ businesses as they are developed. At this time, the City should also request the <br />installation t ~f ~ 8ireetional sign for the Industrial Park. This sign would assist people in finding <br />the existing ~usi~esses and lure new businesses to the area. <br /> <br />The cost of ihe4 '~ signs would be billed to the City. The City could then request reimbursement <br />from the b,a~ne Scs represented. However, with the cost estimated to be less than $100, the City <br />may wish t~p~ ~the cost to help encourage the use of Ramsey for the annual Game Fair held at <br />ArmstrOng ~ h Kennels. The cost of the Ramsey Athletic Club sign would be rationalized in <br />helping ptir~ the club to stay in Ramsey by increasing their exposure and thereby increasing <br />the member~] Of the club. <br /> <br />I have attached a~copy of the letter that was sent to the Mn/DOT Western District Office for review <br />of the placement lof the requested signs. <br /> <br />Jccr <br /> <br /> <br />
