PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Improvement <br />Project g92-04 - Pondvale Estates and Pondvale 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:47 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the pavement was built in 1984 and has never been sealcoated. <br />The approximate price is $3,700 and with 33 units, the per unit cost would be about $168. He <br />stated he had received a call from some of the residents and they feel that municipal sewer will be <br />extended to this area very soon and sealcoating at this time would be a waste of money. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ellen Stanley, 5670 - 150th Lane N.W., Ramsey - stated she called Mr. Jankowski earlier to ask if <br />the City could do a survey regarding City sewer and water and if it appears that most are in favor <br />of it, she would like to ask for a postponement on sealcoating the road until the municipal services <br />come through. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski offered to survey the residents. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson and Zimmerman.
