Case #4: R~luest for Site Plan Approval; Stephen J. Franta, Canvas Craft <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Stephen Franta of Canvas Craft is requesting site plan <br />approval to C~ns~ct the facility to manufacture the boat covers and portable fish houses. The <br />Planning and~Zoi~ng Commission reviewed Mr. Franta's site plan request and directed him to <br />make a couPh of~.evisions. She added that Mr. Franta revised his site plan and is in compliance <br />with City Cod ,, r~4uirements. <br /> <br />Motion by (2~ !un¢llmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve Mr. <br />Stephen Franl ~'s t~quest for site plan approval to construct a manufacturing facility for Canvas <br />Craft on .Lot ii i, Bi~ek 3, Alpaca Estates contingent upon submittal of a certified lot survey and <br />revised site pl! ~ a~d with waivers to locating the loading bays on the rear wall of the facility and <br />curbing the lot din'~ bay maneuvering area. <br />Motion cam~d. !Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman, ~Vofihg No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case #5: iRe_quest for Site Plan Review of the Links Clubhouse; Case of Glenn <br /> ~Relibein Excavating, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Ad ~mi~hist~ator Frolik stated that Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc. has submitted an <br />application foi~ si~ plan approval to construct a clubhouse at The Links Golf Course on Lot 10, <br />Block 3, Nort~jfofl~ 5th Addition - The Links. She stated all City Code requirements have been <br />met and up0ff-review of the site plan, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~ncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve Glenn <br />Rehbein ExOa~ati~/g, Inc.'s proposed site plan for development of a clubhouse at the Northfork <br />Links olf Co e. <br />Motion carrieO. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman and <br />Peterson. VOtihg No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case #6: ~e~uest for Final Plat Approval of Wood Pond Hills; Case of Dick <br /> ~nt~tson, WPH Properties, Inc. <br />Zomng Adrm~st~tor Frohk stated that Wood Pond Hills consxsts of approximately 72 acres <br />proposed to l~¢[s~l:~divided into 135 lots. The plat is proposed to be developed in four phases. At <br />this time, the d~ve!~per is requesting final plat approval of Phase I which consists of 32 lots. Ms. <br />Frolik added ~at :~ity Staff is recommending granting final plat approval of Wood Pond Hills <br />contingent uPOn. s~bmittal of a modified grading plan indicating sediment control and house pad <br />elevations and ~at ~e plat not be released for recording until there is an executed development <br />agreement bet~¢¢fi the City and the developer. She suggested that Council could form a <br />subcommittee 6f tWp members to review the development agreement; therefore, approval could be <br /> tednow t sn t <br />gran ~!a ? to hold up the development. <br />Consensus of ti~e Cbuncil was that Councilmembers Peterson and Zimmerman would review the <br />development a~eerfient. <br />Motion by Co~m¢i~member Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #92[03~052 granting final plat approval to Wood Pond Hills and that the plat not be <br />released for re~ording until the developer provides a modified grading plan and enters into a <br />development a~ee~ent with the City. <br /> <br />City Council/March 24, <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br />1992 <br /> <br /> <br />
