Case #2: [iAi~endment of Chapter 7 of the City code Regarding Charitable <br /> .!~G~mbling <br /> <br />City Admmis[ramr Schroeder stated that at the July 23, 1991 Council meeting, an ordinance <br />amending Cit~.~ erode Sections 7.61 and 7.62 regarding charitable gambling and bingo was <br />introduced. ~jnq¢ then the C~ty has become aware of a couple of State Statute changes which <br />impact this o~n~ce. Enterprises, Inc.; Case of <br /> ~,lo~l Lalley <br /> <br />Mayor Gll~on~turned the meeting over to Councilmember Peterson. <br />Police Chief ~u~P°s stated that all the requirements for the liquor license request by V.H. <br />Ente~dses, In~. ~ve ~en met. He stated that the ordinance requires the license fee to be paid by <br />the applicant g t~e time of the application, but since this is a transfer, the license is actually paid <br />through June, ~1992. <br /> <br /> . [ ~:~ . <br />Morion by C~ng~lmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to approve the <br />transfer of thSofik~ale intoxicating liquor license and Sunday sales license from S.J.S., Inc. to <br />V.H. Absent: Councilmembers Bever and Cich. <br />Councilmem~ P~terson turned the meeting back over to Mayor Gil~nson. <br /> <br />Case g4: ~C~ange Order No. i and Final Payment for 1991 Street Sealcoating <br /> ['P~°gram <br /> <br />City Engineer Jahkowski stated that the City of Ramsey aw~ded its 1991 Street Sealcoating <br />Program to Bi':uffiinous Roadways, Inc. in the amount of $34,761.43. The award was based upon <br /> · il <br />estimated qua! tlt!~,s of bituminous and sealcoating ag~egate. The actual amoum of bituminous <br />used was twa percent higher than the estimate. Mr. 3ankowski stated that in addition, the <br />contractor off :re lithe City a reduced phce for the use of City owned aggregate which was <br />stockpiled at en ml Park. The City took advantage of this and approximately 60 percent of the <br />total ag~egatd~us :d on the project was supplied ~om this stock pile. He explained that since the <br />contract b~d -~as .bna unit price basis, the con,actor should be compensated accordingly. The <br />Change Order ?eft:ets a net decrease of $6,070.92 based on the actual amounts of matehals used. <br /> <br />Motion by CoO nci)mem~r H~din and seconded by Councilmem~r Peterson to authorize Change <br />Order No, 1 and final payment to the con,actor in the full amount of the revised con~act price of <br />$28,690.51.
