City Administ~'atq}r Schroeder stated it would have to be done by the City Council but he feels that there is really rio advantage to adopting it at this time. Chief Griffin Wa~ directed to work on a five-year pla,n that would include the inspector position, adopting the ?C, emergency rescue, water arid safer3 rescue, etc. and include cost estimates. Chief Griffin :wa's also instructed to put budget figures together to show what cost impact the inspection pos!tion would cause. BO^RD XNV'U 1) Mobile Data Terminals Fire Chief Griffiri stated the Fire Department will be able to hook up to Mobile Data Terminals through Anoka ~ounty. The County will supply the hook-up and the Department will be responsible fo~' rice monthly cost of $49.00 which would be the phone bill. This will be a 1993 budget requests, 2 ) Hazmat Incident Fire Chief Gfiffinlstated that recently chemicals had spilled off a truck in Ramsey and the incident was handled veryi.Well by the Fire Department. Boardmember~ Ka'pler commented that the Patrol Officer on the scene handled the situation very well also. ADJOURNMENT Consensus was to'adjourn the meeting.
