CASE #2 <br /> <br /> INSPECTION PROGRAM <br />By: Fire Chief David Griffin <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Fire Department is currently in the final stages of establishing a pre-plan operation for <br />community businesses. The Department will begin an inspection of high or potentially high risk <br />businesses that present a potential threat to fire fighting operations. <br /> <br />This inspection is for the sole intent of managing a safe and efficient fire suppression attack. This <br />will be done by appointment, requesting admittance to the interior and exterior grounds. The <br />inspections are scheduled to be done at a rate of approximately one per month. <br /> <br />There will be specific forms with predetermined, consistent questions to be answered by the Fire <br />Fighters performing the inspection. These forms, sketches, plans, and recommendations will be <br />presented to the Department on the second Wednesday of each month during the regular business <br />meeting.
