Ramsay Fire Department will be responding jointly with the Ramsay' Poli~e Department on all personal injury accidents and possible heart attack patients. Central Communications will tone Ramsay Fire Department as "Ram~e.y Rescue", followed by the address to respond to, the nature of the alarm, and wher'~ an ambulance is being dispatched from. Ramsay Rescue will only be t~n~d for response if an ambulance is being dispatched, and will respond in the same manner. If the ambulance is requested to cancel, o~ to slo~ to routine~ Ramsay Rescue will be notified to do the same. If the ambulance arrives before Ramsay Rescue~ and the paramedics feel tha~ no further assistance is necessary, they will request that the o~icem cancel Ramsay Rescue. Ramsey Rescue will respond to the station by a de ' ed company alarm system. Th~s company will consist of~pproximately 1C~} indi vi duals' and is made up of those who respon0 0u~l-~g-~-~i~~ day and those who respond during,the evening hours. Regardless of the response of personnel to the station, the only unit that will arrive at the scene of a personal injury accident or a heart attack incident, will be Ramsay Fire Department's Engine ~2. It will be equipped with the required ~irst aid and medical supplies an~ will be staffed w~th a maximum of three individuals~ Any additional firefighters who re~.~Dond to the station will remain ~hsr.. until Ramsay Engine ~2 returns, or until further personnel are requeste~ t~ th_= scene.
