John Ploegeri 1~640 Juniper Ridge Drive N.W. - stated that he was also present at the June 11, 1992 meeting a~d residents asked for minor development of the Reilley East Park, which was nothing m_°r~ th~n grading, some grass planted and perhaps access to water. He also mentioned that Woodl~ (]~een seems to be more of a toddler park where older children cannot play without risking inju~!to [flie toddlers. The area residents do not want Woodland Green Park developed. Mayor Gilbe~mn felt that it would not be too difficult to provide some grading at Reilley East Park. r Another area ~'es :lent commented on how secluded Woodland Green Park was and that it would be a prime targ¢[ a~ :~t for child abductions, etc. and parents feel uncertain about letting their children play at Wood~ llGreen Park. Motion by C~u~ ;ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to place this case on the Park ~d 'ecreation Commission agenda for review and that the concerns of the residents be made known ! the Park and Recreation Commission and also the Budget Committee. City Couneilico~mended the Finance Department for their fine work and asked Finance Officer Helling to ~' ,~.,qu~.qt Mr. Malloy appear before the Budget Committee in August to review the documents, i ~: Motion by Cr~u~ilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to accept the City of Ramsey's fin~nc!~il report and audit results for the year ended December 31, 1991. ParksAJtiliti¢fi ~rdinator Boos introduced Dan Gilman from the Department of Agriculture, Mike Max from tl~e ~imka County Tree Board, Jeanette Monear from Anoka County Extension Division, Ste~te ~nde and Mr. Trowbridge from Kunde Company and Ken Holman, Community Forestry Sp~iai½~t, who will be working on Ramsey's oak wilt program proposal. A discussion ensued reg~in~ ~e general workings of the proposal.
