Mr. Sohns collects classic cars and <br />needs the spac~ t~ store them. <br /> <br />CITIZEN n PUX <br /> <br />Thomas Derr, it7~7 Fluorine Street N.W., - stated he owns the property east of the Sohns and <br />stated that th$ Pi~oposed garage would be in view of the front entrance to his home. He is <br />concerned as t~ ~9 the Sohns need to build such a large garage and stated he would feel better if <br />he knew exactly ~hat the building would be used for. <br />Ms. Frolik at~tt~ :that the building would be used for storage of the cars, recreational and <br />gardening equ!Pment. <br />Mr. Derr expr{as~' concern that the Sohns might put a flat roof on the garage. <br />Ms. Frolik sta~Aiithat the building plans have to be previously approved by the City's Building <br />Official and a'fiuiiflh~g permit may not be approved if a flat roof would be planned. <br />Laural Sohns rCpli~ed the roof would be just like a regular garage roof. <br />Laural Sohns itaI? they, too, were concerned that it would block someone's view so they are <br />having the garde get back in a line of trees. <br /> <br />Public Hearing/Planning & Zoning/June 2, 1992 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
