In Minnesota, almost <br /> ~AWCON funds have been provided for over 1,100 projects in <br /> [yhundreds of cities and townships throughout the state. The <br /> :[ted by revenues from offshore otl leases and sale of surplus fed- <br /> not cost additional tax dollars and has left an important legacy <br /> ~lons. In recent years the allocations available to local govern- <br /> Idrastically reduced. The needs, however, remain as great as <br /> <br />ever. <br /> <br /> I suppor' a~ ;increase tn the allocation of LAWCON funds for local government <br />and state par~ ~tojects to help provide adequate outdoor recreation opportunities <br />acquire and l~r~et open space areas and improve the quality of life of present <br />and furore geBetations. <br /> <br />ADDRESS <br /> <br /> <br />
