The Commission discussed interpretation of "unexcused <br />absences; ,..in ~bdivision 6* of the City Code. The Commission proposed that an internal <br />policy rega!'cli~,l~ both attendance and participation be considered at the February meeting. <br />The sugg¢.~ ted~;intemal policy regarding attendance would read something like: <br /> <br />"Three :lb ~rte~s from duly called Commission meetings shall constitute automatic <br />resignatio! fr~m office, unless previously approved by a majority vote, or Commission <br />members a~present a written request for reinstatement, also requiring a majority vote for <br />ratificafior ' ii :. <br /> <br />The other inte~al policy proposed was: <br /> <br />"Each Park ~" ' .... <br /> ,an~IRecreauon Comrmss~oner shall orate annually h~s or her desm~ and purpose <br />for confinu ed ~ppointment on the Commission and benefit to the public of that continued <br />appointmet lt."i, [ <br /> <br />*Subd. 6.: C~mmissioners may resign voluntarily or may be removed from office by a <br />majority vr te ~f the City Council. Three consecutive unexcused absences from duly called <br />commis~tO t ~eetines shall constitute automatic resignation from office. Vacancies in the <br />commis~i61.
