On <br />September ~5, :~003 the Ramsey City Council decided to approve the final plat of the Ramsey <br />Town cen~r an[d grant the RTC a 90 day window to complete the design and proposal of the <br />Parks withlm the Town Center. On December 16, 2003, the City Council also decided to <br />extend this ~0 d~y period until March 25, 2004 to further design the two parks within the retail <br />core of the !evelopment. <br />The costs ~r ~e improvements that have been shown on the conceptual plans for the RTC <br />Parks total~ $I!,2I 1,000. This includes a large amount of "soft" costs (25%) that would be <br />necessary ~f the City decided to take on the development of these improvements. (See <br />attachment~) ~ <br /> <br />Staff feels ithat'; there are still a few issues that need to be resolved, to produce a firm <br />recommen ,datiofl but wanted to discuss the proposal and determine a consensus on how to <br />proceed. W,;e feel that another extension of 30 - 45 days will. be necessary to work out the <br />details.
