o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />,6. <br /> <br />Draft 2.20.04 P'~ <br /> <br />Goal: Complete City Hall project. <br /> <br />ACTION STEPS <br />· Undertake facility and financial analysis of new Ramsey City <br /> Hall and make final decisions in regards to the timing of the <br /> project. <br /> <br />Goal: Determine needs for future municipal facilities and sites <br />for schools and acq~uire/preServe the land necessary to meet <br />these needs. <br /> <br />ACTION STEPS <br />· Analyze the needs for new municipal facilities (i.e. fire station, <br /> water tower, Public Works Facility) thru annual CIP proc~ess <br />· Continue discussion With Anoka-Hennepin School District <br /> regarding future school district needs and preserve land for <br /> future educational facilities in light of future growth within the <br /> community. <br /> <br />Goal: Develop and implement a multi-modal transit plan that <br />specifically includes the Northstar Station. <br /> <br />ACTION STEPS · Advocate for the funding of the Northstar Commuter Rail <br /> project. <br /> · Secure funding for Ramsey station construction. <br /> · Work with Anoka County to expand transit opportunities <br /> (i.e. Anoka Traveller) within the City of Ramsey. <br /> · Construct Ramsey Park and Ride to facilitate car pooling <br /> and the operation of the Northstar Commuter Coach. <br /> <br />Goal: Advocate with other agencies to develop a regiOnal <br />transportation plan to support the needs of the Ramsey <br />community. <br /> <br />ACTION STEPS <br />· U.S. Highway 10 <br /> Complete the Official Mapping process for the Hwy. 10 <br /> corridor. <br /> Seek and secure funding opportunities for planning, <br /> design, and construction of Hwy. 10 interchanges. <br /> ,,- Work with Hwy. 10 property owners to ensure <br /> successful transition of the Hwy. 10 corridor and seek <br /> out relocation opportunities. ~ <br /> .- Seek and secure funding for the construction of the <br /> Hwy. 10 corridor to a freeway. <br /> <br /> <br />
