§ 9.02 I)e_,6nitions <br /> <br />to the actual costs incurred and the person or persons pro~iding the service have <br />not attempted to solicit business through any form of advertising. <br /> <br /> Impervious surface: An artificial or natural surface through which <br />water, air or roots cannot penetrate. <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br /> Junk yard: Land or buildings where waste, discarded or salvaged <br />materials are bought, sold, stored, exchanged, cleared, packaged, disassembled or <br />handled. <br /> <br /> Land reclamation: The process of the reestablishment of, acceptable <br />topography (i.e. slopes), vegetative cover, soil stability and the establishment of safe <br />conditions appropriate to the subsequent use of the land. <br /> <br /> Light manufacturing:. The processing and fabrication of certain <br />materials and products where no process involved will produce noise, vibrations, <br />air pollution, fire hazard or noxious emission which will disturb or endanger <br />neighboring properties. <br /> <br /> Lot: A parcel of land occupied or capable of being occupied by one or <br />more structures. <br /> <br /> Lot, depth of: A mean horizontal distance between the front and rear <br />lot lines measured in the mean direction of the side lot lines. <br /> <br /> Lot, frontage: The front of a lot shall be, for purposes of compl%ng <br />with this Ordinance, that boundary abutting a public right-of-way haxdng the least <br />width. <br /> <br /> Lot, interior: A lot, other than a corner lot, including through lots. <br /> <br /> Lot, line: A property boundary hne of any lot held in single or separate <br /> ownership; except that where amy portion of the lot extends into the abutting street <br /> or alley, the lot line shall be deemed to be the street or alley right-of-way. <br />-----~ Lot, minimum area of: The surface of a lot computed exclusive of any <br /> portion of the right-of-way of any public street or thoroughfare for ail commercial <br /> and industrial lots and all residential lots within the Urban Area. For residential <br /> lots within the Rural Area, the minim-m lot area may include the right-of-way of <br /> any public street or thoroughfare. <br /> <br /> Lot of record: Amy lot which indixfidually, or as part of a subdivision, <br />was a separate parcel of record on April 28, 1972. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Lot, througb~ A lot fronting on two parallel streets. <br /> <br /> Lot, width: The uniform ~fidth measured at the property line abutting <br />the street and continuing to the building setback line. In the case of a lot abutting a <br />cul-de-sac, the lot %~idth is the width measured at right angles to the depth at the <br />building setback requirement; however, in no case shall the width at the building <br />setback line be less than 40 feet in the Urban Area and 200 feet in the Rural Area. <br />The mi~im,m street frontage is the lot width requirement for the district in which <br />the parcel is located. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
