CASE <br />REv[Ew:r OF RAMSEY CITY CODE SECTIONS 9.50.37 TO 9.50.59 <br />By: :~Ci,t~, Administrator Schroeder and Zoning Administrator Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Per your direCtiqn on October 6, 1992, additional changes have been made to the proposed <br />revisions to S.$cff0ns 9.50.37 (Park and Open Space Dedication) and the proposed addition of <br />Section 9.50.58 (COnstruction Definition of Trailways). The most recent draft of these revisions is <br />enclosed. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The following ~s a summary of the changes: <br /> <br /> Section 9;50.37 <br /> <br /> i Subd. 6, Item (a) - "City Assessor" was changed to "Assessor". <br /> <br /> iSUbrd. 9, Item (b) - This paragraph was modified to clarify the type of trail <br /> isUff~acing that will be required based on the proposed trail use (bikeways and <br /> walkways versus horses). <br /> <br /> sUbd. 9, Item (e) - This paragraph was changed to eliminate the requirement for a <br /> ;mfialmum 300 foot public road access and require access and parking as deemed <br /> ',appropriate by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> Thig paragraph was revised to clarify the required construction requirements for <br /> bikOways and walkways versus horse or wilderness trails. <br /> <br />Recommend: <br /> <br />Direct Staff to idverttse and schedule a public hearing on the proposed revisions. <br /> <br /> CommissiOn Action: <br /> <br />Mofion~-:to: : <br />DirectiCity Staff to schedule a public hearing on November 5, 1992, regarding the <br />proposed revisions to Sections 9.50.37 to 9.50.58 of the City Code. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />P&Z: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />10/15/92 <br /> <br /> <br />
