§9.20.21 B.1 Business District <br /> <br />9.20.21 B-1 Business District <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent: The purpose of the B-I, Business District is to <br />provide for areas of commercial development which accommodate shopper type goods and <br />services as contrasted to auto oriented highway commercial activities. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Permitted Uses: (Subject to general requirements and <br />performance standards as specified by this chapter.) <br /> <br /> a. Retail business. <br /> <br /> b. Eating and drinking establishments. <br /> c. Offices and banks. <br /> d. Personal and professionals services. <br /> e. Funeral homes. <br /> f. Medical clinics. <br /> g. Animal clinics. <br /> h. Adult uses-accessory. <br /> <br /> i. Other uses may be permitted upon obtaining a conditional use <br /> permit. <br /> <br />NOTE: No use that generates process waste water will be permitted on a property that is <br />not served by municipal water and sanitary sewer. A use that generates domestic waste <br />water will not be permitted on a property than cannot provide sufficient green area for three <br />adequately sized septic systems. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Accessory Uses: <br /> <br /> a. Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use accessory <br /> to the principal use but such use shall not exceed 30% of the gross <br /> floor space of the principal use. <br /> <br /> b. Off-street parking including semi-trailer trucks, as regulated and <br /> required by this Chapter. <br /> <br /> c. Off-street loading as regulated and required by this Chapter. <br /> <br /> d. Signing as regulated by the City Code. <br /> <br /> e. Open and outdoor storage, sales, service or rental, not to exceed <br /> 10% of the parcel area. <br /> <br /> <br />
