The consensus of the Council was to support the general framework for completion of the 2014 <br />Comprehensive Plan Update for future work planning and budget preparation purposes. <br />3. TOPICS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked for a future discussion on The Draw signage as it is experiencing <br />additional use. He supported locating another sign closer to The Draw. <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood recommended addressing that <br />issue at the same time as the park dedication for Parkview East, which overlooks The Draw. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill stated there will likely be an update to The COR <br />Sign Plan. <br />Mayor Strommen reported that John Anfinson, Mississippi National River and Recreation Area <br />Supervisor, has announced a Centennial Celebration of the National Park Service and is reaching <br />to outlying communities to engage in the Celebration. Mayor Strommen asked staff to follow up <br />on that opportunity. <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood confirmed that Mr. Anfinson has <br />indicated he wants to include Ramsey in the Centennial Celebration and assure the National Park <br />Service meets the needs of and advocates for Ramsey. <br />Councilmember Riley asked if it is time to schedule joint meetings with the City of Anoka and <br />the City's legislative delegation. <br />Mayor Strommen stated there should be a specific topic to address so with the City of Anoka, it <br />could be the Highway 10 project and transportation issues. She asked staff to address this matter <br />and schedule it for discussion at a future Work Session. <br />4. MAYOR / COUNCIL / STAFF INPUT <br />None <br />5.
