Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-01-020 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Temporary Ice Rink Attendants to supervise and <br />perform various tasks at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School ice rinks, warming houses <br />and grounds for approximately 10 weeks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recruited for, interviewed, and selected qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, all candidates passed the pre-employment screening; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring Jacob Baldus, Courtni Holloway, Alec McDonald, <br />Brittney Maki, Alle Prokopenko, Harrison Redepenning, Tyler Trovik, and Sarah Wiener as <br />Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within that Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.00 to <br />$10.00 per hour. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #15-01-020 to hire Jacob Baldus, Courtni Holloway, Alec <br />McDonald, Brittney Maki, Alle Prokopenko, Harrison Redepenning, Tyler Trovik, and <br />Sarah Wiener as Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within that Rink Attendant pay scale <br />which is $9.00 to $10.00 per hour; effective December 10, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
