Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-11-298 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br />FURNITURE FOR BUILDING DEPARTMENT STAFF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the hiring of a Building Inspections Permit Technician and a new <br />Building Official, the building department function will be lnoved to the basement of city hall; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to provide a service counter and work station for the permit technician and <br />plan review space for the building inspectors and building official additional workstations are <br />needed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the purchase and installation of <br />additional workstations for the building department staff at a cost not to exceed $10,000. <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of building permit <br />revenues to fund the purchase and installation of the workstations. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councillnelnber <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Stronnnen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
