CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: New CiD' Hall and Police Facility <br />By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As Council will recall, during the regular meeting of January 27th, 2004, Council reviewed a <br />proposal fi'om BKV Group and 3D/I Group for schematic design and visioning for the new City <br />Hall and Police Facility project. The case was tabled pending further work on the Fiscal Impact <br />Study to better understand the tax impacts of the bonds for this project as well as the other public <br />improvement projects occurring over the next several years throughout the City. Staff has <br />substantially completed the work on the Fiscal Impact Study (presented earlier during this work <br />session) and is now seeking direction with regard to the proposal for commencing design work <br />for the City Hall/Police project.' <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br />Stqff is seeking direction regarding the proposal for schematic design and visioning for the City <br />Hall/t~oIice project. <br /> <br />CCWS: 03/09/2004 <br /> <br /> <br />
