Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-03 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR <br />OUTSIDE STORAGE OF COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT IN THE FRONT YARD ON A <br />RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff and Barbara Rockow, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", have <br />properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an Interim Use Permit (Permit) to allow <br />for outside storage of commercial equipment in the front yard on the property located at 18015 <br />Ute St NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the north half Of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: <br /> <br />From a point on the east line of said north half of the Northeast Quarter said point <br />being 12.76 chains south of the Northeast comer thereof, said point also being the <br />centerline of public road: thence south 82 degrees, 30 minutes west on said center <br />line of said road a distance of 1010.0 feet; thence northerly parallel with the east <br />line of said Section 1, a distance of 451.0 feet to the actual point of beginning of <br />the tract to be described, said last described line also being the easterty line of <br />road easement; thence easterly parallel with the north line of said Section 1, a <br />distance of 155.00 feet; thence northeasterly deflecting to the left 40 degees, 47 <br />minutes 0 seconds a distance of 191.87 feet to its intersection with a line drawn <br />parallel with and distant 700.0 feet west of the east line of said Section 1; thence <br />northerly along said parallel line a distance of 101.75 feet to its intersection with a <br />line drawn parallel with the north line of said Section 1, distance 227.0 feet north <br />from the point of beginning as measured along a line ' parallel with the east line of <br />said Section 1; thence westerly along said parallel line a distance of 301.59 feet to <br />its intersection with said line drawn northerly and parallel with the east line of <br />said Section 1 from the point of beginning; thence southerly along said parallel <br />line a distance of 227.0 feet to the point of beginning. Together with an easement <br />of access over a strip of land 30 feet in width extending from the aforementioned <br />public road on the south and to the north line of the tract herein described on the <br />north and the easterly line of this easement extending from a point on the <br />centerline of the said public road which is 1010 feet from the east line of said <br />Section 1 when measured along the said centerline, and extending north to the <br />northwest comer of the tract herein above described. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on March 11, 2004, conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended that the City Council deny the request for short-term outdoor storage <br />of commercial equipment on the Subject Property; and '. <br /> <br /> <br />
