Number of Plantings. The minimum number of overstory trees on any given <br /> lot shall be as required below. Acceptable plantings shall be determined by the City <br />planting schedule. The compliment of trees fulfilling the landscaping <br />requirements shall not be less than 25% deciduous and not less than 25% <br />coniferous. <br /> <br />Grading. Final slope grades shall not exceed 3.5:1 unless terracing of <br />retaining walls are approved. Berming for parking lots and open space areas <br />shall aot exceed a slope of 3:1. <br /> <br />Required Ground Cover. Lawns are required for all residential <br />developments and shall be installed with either sod, seed, natural ground <br />cover, or native grasses and wild flowers in the R-1 Residential District <br />within one (1) year o[' the date the certificate of occupancy fbr the principal <br />buildint~ was issued.
