RESOLUTION NO. 42 CITY OF RAMSEY COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RELEASING OLD HIGHWAY EASEMENT (CSAH #5) WHEREAS, the property owner of the below described property is asking for release of an old highway easement (SP 02-605-01) CSAH #5, which is no longer required by the County of Anoka for roadway purposes, and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that any vacation of old highway easements have to be approved by the City together with the Commissioner of Transportation, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Ramsey City Council approves the vacation of the old highway easement over the property described as: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of section 14, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, MN described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of said Northwest Quarter the Southwest Quarter distant 650 feet South from the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, thence East and parallel with the North line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 1,089 feet; thence South and parallel with the West line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 311.0 feet; thence Westerly deflecting to the right 97 degrees, 42 minutes, 13 seconds, a distance of 550.49 feet; thence South- westerly deflecting to the left 51 degrees, 12 minutes, 50 seconds, a distance of 362.51 feet to the centerline of County State Aid Highway No.5; thence Northwesterly along said center- line to its intersection with the West line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence North along the said West line a distance of 215.28 feet to the point of commencement. Subject to an easement for road purposes over the West 66 feet thereof and over a strip 60 feet in width lyin9 Northerly and adjacent to the centerline of County State Aid Highway No. 5.
