RESOLUTION NO, 3 CITY OF RAMSEY COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR THE CITY OF RA~SEY WHEREAS,. the population of the City of Ramsey has tripled since the year 1970 and the voting registrations have increased in proportion, and WHEREAS, the present system of voting in one precinct and at one polling place is inadequate to handle the elections efficiently, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby create two precincts to be known as precinct one and precinct two, Precinct one is bounded on the North, West and South by the City limits of the City of Ramsey and on the East by the center line of County Highway 5 from its northern most extension to its intersection of County Highway 37 and thence along the center line of County Highway 5!7 to its southern most extension all within the City limits of the City of Ramsey. The polling place for precinct one is located at 6139 157th Lane in the Lord of Life Lutheran Church building, Precinct two is bounded on the North, East and South by the City limits of the City of Ramsey and on the West by the center line of County Highway 5 from its northern most extension to its intersection of County Highway 5"7 and thence along the center line of County Highway 5Y to its southern most extension all within the City limits of the City of Ramsey, The polling place for precinct two is located at 15000 Nowthen Boulevard in the Ramsey Elementary School building, Boundaries and polling places are illustrated on a City map for public viewing at the Ramsey City Hall according to statute.
