WHEREAS the Town Board of Ramsey and the Town Board of Grow
have met concerning the improvement of the two communities
involved;

WHEREAS we would respect each other's ordinances and the servic-
ing of each other's areas;

WHEREAS we would send plats back and forth between the two Town-

ships for consideration;

WHEREAS we feel it would be preferrable that we hold one or two
meetings together each year to up-date both communities on
current problems;

WHEREAS we would plan for an exit west from Grow and east from

Ramsey to a bridge across the Rum River;

WHEREAS we agree on supporting shoreline zoning between the

two communities;

WHEREAS jurisdiction of zoning is easier to control when both
sides of the river are in one To~ship or the other; the
residents that live in these areas have indicated they prefer
to live in the Township of which they are residents and
that they prefer the boundary remain as it is; we feel we
can respect their wishes without being detrimental to either
community;

WHEREAS we agree to work towards any joint resolution that would
benefit the health, safety and welfare of the citizens in
both communities;

WHEREAS we hope we can encourage this same relationship with the

other surrounding communities;
