Updated Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />Policy 2.409: The City will perform maintenance measures to <br />minimize pollutant loadings to local water bodies. <br />Policy 2.4410: The City will adopt best management practices for <br />development that will result in TSS and TP reductions of 90% <br />and 60%, respectively. <br />Policy 2.4211: The City will adopt best management practices for <br />redevelopment that will result in TS S and TP reductions <br />consistent with the Minnesota Stormwater Manual. <br />Policy 2.4412: The City will integrate their Stormwater Pollution <br />Prevention Plan into their local water management plan, in <br />accordance with MPCA requirements and schedules. <br />Policy 2.4413: The City will revise its Stormwater Pollution Prevention <br />Plan to include the required nondegredation information and <br />summarize or integrate that information into its local water <br />management plan when the nondegradation rules are fmalized <br />and become a mandatory part the Municipally Separate Storm <br />Sewer System (MS4) permit. <br />C. Recreation, Fish and Wildlife <br />Goal 3: Protect and enhance water recreational facilities, fish and wildlife habitat. <br />Policy 3.1: Natural areas, wildlife habitat and wetlands to be protected <br />during construction should be clearly marked and/or fenced in <br />the field. <br />Policy 3.2: <br />ponds and nc urag d in privet ly wn d area, ar and existing <br />ponds and w tlands 1 cat d within current wildlife c rrid rs t <br />pr vide habitat f r wildlife in acc rdancc with the W tland <br />Management Plan. <br />P licy 3.3: The water level fluctuation of a wetland or pond shall be <br />maintained consistent with the management function of the water <br />body. Wetlands used for stormwater overflow purposes shall be <br />limited to a maximum bounce of 2 -feet between the NWL and <br />HWL. <br />Policy 3.43: The City has already assessed the functions and values of all <br />wetlands over '/4 -acre in size.
