The annual employee appreciation breakfast /years -of- service awards /all -staff <br />meetings will take place on Wednesday, April 22n The management team will be on hand bright <br />and early to prepare a tasty breakfast, ready for serving at 7:30 a.m. <br />Recruitment Update: <br />• Closed Positions <br />o The Park Maintenance Worker and the part -time Permit Technician Assistant <br />recruitments are wrapping up and it is anticipated that staff will present both of the <br />candidates' names to the City Council at the March 24 meeting for authorization <br />to hire. Paid -on -call Firefighter interviews will occur next week on Tuesday the <br />10 Wednesday the 11 and Thursday the 12 at Fire Station #1. <br />• Open Positions <br />• The City is accepting applications for Seasonal Workers to work in Public Works <br />(open through March 27 and Interns to work in Administrative Services, the <br />Police Department, Community Development, Engineering and Parks (open <br />through March 1 I see the City website / Employment for details. <br />• The City is currently accepting internal applications for two 25 -hour per week <br />Community Service Officers. If the positions are not filled internally, they will be <br />advertised externally. <br />City Receives Three (3) Major Land Use Applications. On March 5, the City received three (3) <br />significant land use applications to be reviewed at the April 9, 2015 Planning Commission <br />Meeting. These projects include the following: <br />1) Harvest Estates Preliminary Plat for 45 single - family homes (Developer: NIK <br />Management) <br />2) Parkview East Sketch Plan, Preliminary Plat, Final Plat, and Site Plan for one (1) 120 -unit <br />apartment building (Developer: PSD, LLC) <br />3) Sunwood Village Preliminary Plat, Final Plat, and Site Plan for one (1) 47 -unit apartment <br />building (Developer: CommonBond Communities) <br />Questions regarding the process or submittal should be directed to Tim Gladhill, Community <br />Development Director, at 763 - 433 -9826 or tgladhill@cityoframsey.com <br />Registration for 2015 Ramsey EDA Business Expo is now open! We are now accepting <br />exhibitor applications for the 7 annual Ramsey EDA Business Expo, happening on Saturday, <br />April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Fountains of Ramsey. Space is limited and available <br />on a first -come basis. Preference is given to businesses with store fronts located in the City of <br />Ramsey.
