Councihnember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-02-045 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE RENAMING OF 145t~' <br />AVENUE AND 146TM AVENUE WITHIN THE SUNFISH LAKE ESTATES <br />SUBDIVISION TO 146TM LANE AND 147x}I AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the existing streets of 145th Avenue and 146th Avenue within the Sunfish <br />Lake Estates subdivision are inconsistent with the Anoka County street name grid system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the recent construction of adjacent streets which have been named <br />consistent with the Anoka County street naming system may cause difficulty and confusion in <br />the locating of street addresses within the vicinity; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby directed to schedule a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 for the purpose of soliciting input on the above proposed <br />street name change. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> Ilone <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br /> none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-02-045 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
