City Council <br />The following are miscellaneous chapters from the 2030 Comprehensive Plan (some of these elements `live' <br />within other elements above): <br />1. Community Identity <br />2. Public Facilities <br />Element #12 (REVIEW OF ELEMENT #3): LAND USE PLAN CHECK-IN #2 (DEVELOP <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP — THIS WILL BE CONTINUALLY/ITERATIVELY REVIEWED AT <br />EACH STAGE) [Required Element] <br />Desired Outcome: Review and update current Future Land Use Map. NOTE: the City did hold an initial forum <br />in 2014 and as able to gather initial feedback. The City will utilize a variety of forums to seek feedback on this <br />map over the next 12-24 months. <br />The following smaller geographic areas need to be addressed as part of the overall Land Use Plan: <br />• Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (lMRCCA) <br />• Closed Landfill Land Use Plan <br />• South of Highway 10 <br />• Highway 10 Access Planning Study Impacted Parcels <br />Review of End Product: <br />• Economic Development Authority <br />• Environmental Policy Board <br />• Parks and Recreation Commission <br />• Planning Commission <br />• City Council <br />Modeling `What -I' Scenarios <br />Model alternate forecasts based on the following assumptions (two alternative forecast scenarios): <br />• No improvements to Highway 10 <br />• No solution to groundwater supply issues/surface water supply study <br />
