I \ <br />port <br />evelo p ment a <br />Your Source for Development News in Ramsey <br />New Residential and Commercial Development Continues <br />M <br />Ramsey is in the process of reviewing several develop- <br />ment applications and inspecting several projects under <br />construction. <br />Projects in design and planning stages include <br />Parkview East, Sunwood Village, Harvest Estates and <br />Casey's General Store. All of these projects are in the <br />preliminary stage and are anticipated to commence con- <br />struction in spring 2015. These projects are not consid- <br />ered official until construction commences. <br />Parkview East is a proposed 120 -unit apartment <br />building in The COR located adjacent to the Ramsey Of- <br />fice Plaza. The Developer is PSD, LLC. Parkview East is <br />the first phase of a three -phase project. Sunwood Village <br />is a proposed 47 -unit apartment building in The COR <br />located just west of Residence at The COR. The Devel- <br />oper is CommonBond Communities. Harvest Estates is <br />the proposed redevelopment of the old municipal center <br />located at 15153 Nowthen Boulevard as a detached, <br />Rendering of Stony River <br />required Building Permit. <br />Country Club Hills, an 85 lot detached single - family <br />subdivision located south of Sweetbay Ridge east of <br />Variolite Street received a contingent approval from the <br />City Council at the end of 2014. The contingent ap- <br />proval required revised plans to be submitted to the City <br />before construction commenced. <br />Stoney River, a 72 -unit Assisted Living and Memory <br />Care facility located at 14401 Nowthen Blvd. NW is set <br />to complete construction at the end of February. <br />The City Council recently approved plans for the re- <br />placement of Fire Station No. 2 currently located at the <br />former municipal center. The City will now advertise for <br />competitive bids and consider awarding a contract later <br />this spring. <br />The City approved 66 new single - family homes in <br />2014 and has reviewed 18 new home permits year to date <br />in 2015. <br />For more information on these and other develop- <br />ment projects, visit www.cityoframsey.com/developmen- <br />tupdate.
