Ramsey Fire Department <br />Activity Report for February 2004 <br /> <br />Emergency Response <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department responded to a total of 26 calls during the month of <br />February including a bedroom fire at 18005 Waco St. (See Investigations section <br />below) Total YTD calls for 2004 is 64. The breakdown between fire and rescue is <br />listed below. Also attached is a graph listing the February activity. <br /> <br />February Fire Related 14 <br /> Rescue/Personal Injury 12 <br /> <br />Note that February's activity included 1 call in Burns Township. Twice valve has been <br /> shipped with wrong threads. <br />· Installed "Hydrant Bags" on Engine #1, Engine #2 and Ladder #1. The <br /> bags include hydrant connection, (2) spanner wrenches and a hydrant <br /> wrench. Safety Note:The bags are attached to the end of the high volume <br /> hose on each truck. <br />· The preset on Engine #2 has been changed to 115lbs. This is the correct <br /> setting for the crosslays (200ft of 1 ½" hose) <br /> <br /> <br />
