ENGAGE SERVICES OF COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR TOWN CENTER REVIEW BOARD <br /> By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />During a work session held on March 14, 2004, the City Council discussed the creation, <br />organization, and purpose of the Town Center Review Board (TCRB), which will function much <br />like a Technical Advisory Committee. The make-up of the TCRB will include one <br />representative selected by the Ramsey Town Center Master Developer, three City staff positions, <br />the City Attorney, the City's Development Consultant, and a Commercial Architectural <br />Consultant. The TCRB will also use services of specialty fields as needed, such as Jim Lasher of <br />LSA Design. <br /> <br />The City Council was introduced to Kathy Anderson of Architectural Consortium LLC, a <br />commercial architect, during the work session of March 14th. Ms. Anderson has been involved <br />in many similar mixed use developments in the Metropolitan Area as well as through out the <br />country. Staff recommended that the City enter into contractual arrangements with Architectural <br />Consortium LLC, to provide the commercial architectural consulting services for the TCRB. <br />Ms. Anderson's services would be paid through the reimbursement processes along with other <br />billings related to the RTC project. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to enter into an agreement with Kathy Anderson with Architectural Consortium LLC for <br />commercial architectural consulting services as it relates to the Town Center Review Board. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC 03/23/04 <br /> <br /> <br />
