Vehicle speed and a 75 m.p.h, maximum
train speed, design sight requirements call for clear sight
corners (in each quadrant) with dimensions of 704 feet along
the tracks and 125 feet along the roadway. The design sight
distance has been attained in all four quadrants, therefore the
installation of stop signs would not serve any purpose.

Additional passive signing should be used, and would be more
effective. Our recommendationS are as follows:

Install 20 m.p.h, advisory speed plate (W 13-1) to the
inplace advance warning sign (W 10-1) North Side.

I
I

r.
