Councilmen: ,er Van Wagner introduced the following ~'esolution and moved for its ad, ~ption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ~83-Z06 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka and the Metropolitan Council have designated, <br />pursuant to the Minnesota Waste Management Act, a proposed landfill site in the <br />City of Ramsey, which site is known as Anoka County's proposed Landfill Site P; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey does not concur with the size of the fill area and necessary <br />buffer areas proposed for said Site P; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey does not concur with the configuration of proposed Site <br />Pi and <br /> <br /> WHE. REAS, Ramsey has an alternate configuration for proposed Site P; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey does not intend for this Resolution to be an endorsement <br />Oa~fdSite P, nor an endorsement for any additional land filling in the City of Ramsey; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: · <br /> <br /> l) That if Site P is mandated into Ramsey by the Metropolitan Council and <br />Anoka County, that the configuration of said Site P be as shown on the attached map <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit 'A~. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor <br />Gamec and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Van Wagner, Reima~rt and Schlueter <br /> _ <br />and the following voted against the same. <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Sorteberg <br /> <br />whereupon -~aid resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the ZZnd day of November, 1983. <br /> <br /> ATrEST: /~ Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
