The above amounts were the <br /> basis on which the pro rata reduction was applied to. <br /> <br />(2)The 1982 LGA was reduced on two occasions. The first LGA reduction <br /> of ~30,000,000 was allocated to cities on a 11.08% pro rata basis. <br /> The second reduction of $5,780,000 was allocated to cities based on a <br /> reduction ratio (the city's 1982 levy limit + 1982 LGA received <br /> divided by the sum of all cities 1982 levy limit + 1982 LGA received) <br /> times the total reduction amount. <br /> <br />(3)The 1983 LGA was allocated using the 1981LGA allocation before <br /> reductions that occurred in 1981. <br /> <br />(4)These percentages do not incorporate the inclusion of the prior year <br /> LGA amount in the determination of the state aid factors (preliminary, <br /> minimum and maximum) used in allocating the current year LGA increase. <br /> If considered, these provisions would further increase the percent of <br /> LGA which is allocated on the basis of the prior years' LGA received. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br /> <br />
