7. In the event an animal impounded and boarded by order of the City Health Officer or <br /> placed under quarantine by ruling of the State Board of Health, said animal Shall be board- <br /> ed as required by said order or ruling. At the end of such period, the City releases all of <br /> its interests, right and control over said animals which may then be disposed of at the dis- <br /> cretion of MAPSI. In the event that any dogs, cats, or other impounded animals are unclaim- <br /> ed after five (5) days, they shell become the property of MAPSI and may be disposed of <br /> or sold at their discretion. All proceeds from the disposition of such animals may be re- <br /> tained by MAPSI, including any proceeds received from any animals disposed of in ac- <br /> cordance to Minnesota Statutes 35.71. . <br /> <br />8. The City shall furnish to MAPSI all license forms, pound receipts and license tags as speci- <br /> fied in the Ordinance and MAPSI shall keep records of all animals impounded together with <br /> a description of the sa.~e. <br /> <br /> 9. MAPSI shall furnish all vehicles with two Way radios and/or other communication equil> <br /> ment and agrees to service and maintain said equipment. <br /> <br />10. Upon request, MAPSl shall provide to the City proof of public liability insurance in- <br /> cluding comprehensive automobile liability in an amount of at least $100,000 per each <br /> c. laimant and $300,000 per occurrence. <br /> <br />11. MAPSI agrees that during the period of this contract it will not, within the State of Min- <br /> nesota, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, <br /> color, creed, sex, national origin, or ancestry and will include a similar provision in ell sub- <br /> contracts entered into for the performance hereof. This paragraph is inserted in this con- <br /> tract to comply with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 181.59. <br /> <br />12. The City agrees to pay MAPSI for services in the performance of this contract as <br /> .follows: <br /> a. Base fee for Administrative Services (per month) -~5-'-/~ ~ <br /> <br /> b. Price per hour per ambulance for furnishing Patrol Ambulance for scheduled _ <br /> patrol, (actual time in service for the City) <br /> <br /> c. Price for each 24 hours or fraction thereof for boarding any species of/!cl'~':5 <br /> local ordinance. <br /> animal impounded by direction of City officials or <br /> d.
