Z0515

Dear Representative Frenzel:

O
F

T
H
E

I'm enclosing a copy of City of Ramsey Resolution ~83-203 and a copy
of the League of Minnesota Cities "Action Alert" memo which is in regards
to H.R. 1470 pertaining to industrial development bonds for your information.

We here in Ramsey feel that the industrial development bond is playing
a very important role in allowing our present industries to expand and in
the creating of new industries which in turn provides the additional jobs
and tax base, all of which is very important to the quality of life for our
community.

Consequently, we feel that if you think the proposed change in H.R. 1470
regarding industrial development bonds is essential, we then request that
you conduct a public hearing on it. This way you will be able to get input
from citizens on the proposed changes and we will also be able to hear
your rationale for proposing these changes to the law governing industrial
development bonds.

We look forward to hearing from you on the above issue.
M S
incerely,
h CITY OF RAMSEY

O Thomas G.
