Several potential sites <br />have been identified. One of these sites, known as Site P, has been <br />sited directly south of the present landfill near your property. <br /> <br />As a part of the siting process, the County had to identify a "site" <br />area and a "buffer" area. The identification of these areas was, of <br />necessity, a matter of Judgment. <br /> <br />I have asked the county staff to reconsider the configuration of Site P. <br />The City of Ramsey welcomes the possibility of some adjustment in the <br />configuration which might permit other industrial development near the <br /> <br />As a part of the reconsideration of the boundaries, oy_~_are tnytted to <br />discuss with members of the city and county staff~fnether you want your <br />property included in the buffer area. It may be to your edvantage if <br />your property was so included. The meeting will be held in the County <br />Administration Conference Room at the Courthouse (second floor) on <br />Friday, September g, 1983, at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Please keep in mind that the County may not'be able to obtain Metropolitan <br />Council approval of the changes, tf made, and further, that Site P my <br />not ultimately be chosen as a landfill site. <br /> <br />Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer <br /> <br /> <br />
