Metro Council's. 1984 Work Pro,ram And Budget: <br /> <br />Council noted receiving Metro Council's 1984 Work Program and Budget. <br /> <br />Case #8: Econc~nic Development: <br /> <br />Council noted City Administrator's memo relating to the Dickenson case, Metro <br />Council's approach to economic development and Tax Increment Financing. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec and Mr. Schnelle discussed LAWCON grants and the fact that Ramsey's <br />Central Bark is not eligible because it is not located in an urban area. <br />Their intentions are to draft a request'stating that cities like Ramsey <br />should be eligible for LAWCON grants if the development is within the city's <br />borders and not necessarily within the urban area. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that the workings of Tax Increment Financing will be <br />discussed at the next regular EDCmeeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember P~imann to <br />adjourn the regular council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, P~imann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
