Motion by Cox, seconded by Reimann that whereas the Board of Adjustment has held a public hearing on the applicants variance request, which public hearing was duly advertised in the City's legal newspaper and of which written notice was sent to adjacent landowners and, whereas the Board ~of Adjustment finds the following facts which in the Board's opinion fulfills each of the variance criteria of Section 170. O14K of the City's Zoning Chapter: There will be 100 percent brick facing on the front of the building as stated in the ordinance as it exists and 30 percent brick or stone facing on each side of the remaining three sides. Now, therefore, the Board of Adjustment hereby grants a variance from Section .~70.014K, Subd. 5 of the City Code of Ramsay and authorizes the proposed structure to be constructed as stated above. Item 2. Chairman Muller announced the commencement of a public hearing for David Schmedke before the City's Board of Adjustment concerning a variance from Section 170.O14K, Subd. 5 of the City's Zoning Code to construct a metal building. Mr. Schmedke would like a variance to the requirement of brick or stone exterior on the entire building. It was noted that this public hearing ~as officially published in the Anoka County Union and written notice mailed to the affected property owners ten days prior to this hearing. Nm. Schmedke stated his building will face County Road 56. A letter was acknowledged from Charles Rohl stating his agreeing to the variance being granted to Mr. Schmedke. No citizen input received. Motion by Cox, seconded by Reimann to grant a variance to the City's '~ Zoning Code contingent on Mr. Schmedke paying the $90 Board of Adjustment fee and that the entire front of the building facing County Road 56 and 50 percent of the building facing Highway l0 be covered ~ith brick or stone and that no brick or stone will be required on the east or railroad tracE~ side. .Motion by Cox, seconded by Reimann to adjourn.
