I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />Case #5: Capital Improvement Budgeting: <br /> <br />R~fer to Page 6, Paragraph 6 of these minutes. <br /> <br />Case #6: Sketch Plan A~roval For Ramse~ 67 Industrial Park Second Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Mary Eggumwas present representing the Ramsey 67 Industrial Park and <br />stated that he resides at 1101 Cliff Road, Burnsville and he is a managing <br />partner of the Ramsey 67 Partnership. <br /> <br />Mr. Eggum stated that Ramsey 67 first addition was platted in 1978 and Lot 3 <br />of that addition has not been sold. S. J. Groves Company has expressed an <br />interest in purchasing a larger plat than is available (Lot 3 of First Addition). <br />Mr. Eggum requested approval of Ramsey 67 'Second Addition with variances to <br />street construction and municipal utilities. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that would be no problem approving the Ramsey 67 Addition with <br />variances. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka also stated that there should not be any problem in granting variances <br />to street construction provided there be some type of agreement that ties Ramsey <br />67 to construction at a later date. <br /> <br />Mr. Eggum stated that the Ramsey 67 partnership has no problem in complying <br />with City Engineer Raatikka's letter dated August 31, 1983. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that City Staff recommends approval of the second addition <br />provided the following restrictions are part of the development agreement: <br /> <br />Access to Sunfish Lake Blvd. be temporary and that access to Lot 1, <br />Block 1 will relocate to 139th Avenue NW at such time as it is <br />constructed. <br /> <br />2. That Lot 2, Block 1 shall not receive a building permit until such time <br /> as Tungsten Street NW is constructed. <br /> <br />That any further subdivision of the remaining platted properties that <br />were a part of the original Ramsey 67 Industrial Park plat shall not <br />be approved until the streets are constructed. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding whether or not a public hearing would be necessary, <br />that it has been five years since a public hearing has been conducted regarding <br />Ramsey 67. Commission consensus is to conduct another public hearing. <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Eggum stated that the S.J. Groves Company would like to begin construction <br />this Fall yet. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that the earliest possible date to conduct a special meeting <br />for the public hearing and preliminary plat approval would be September 20, <br />1983 and the cost of a special meeting would be approximately $190.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Eggum requested that City Staff proceed to make arrangements for a special <br />meeting of the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission for September 20, 1983. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Schneider and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to approve <br />of the proposed sketch plan for Ramsey 67 Industrial Park Second Addition and <br />to schedule a public hearing for preliminary plat approval for Tuesday, <br />September 20, 1983 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />P & Z/September 6, 1983 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
