Public Works Department. Due to the early spring weather the PW Department has been able to start some of our maintenance activities ahead of schedule. Our patching contractor is out working on two sections of Sunwood Dr, the area between Ramsey Blvd and Bunker Lake Blvd and also the area between Sunfish Lake Blvd and Krypton St. Both areas are scheduled for over lays 2016. Spring sweeping is scheduled to begin on March 16 with the contractor sweeping the northern half of the City and the PW Department sweeping the southern half. The Park Department is gearing up for an early season as well and have already received requests to use the athletic fields for team practices. Combine all the above activities with the fact that spring road restrictions went into effect March 11 and I would say Spring is definitely on the way! 7th Annual Ramsey EDA Business Expo. The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) is proud to present its 7 annual Business Expo on Saturday, April 18 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Fountains of Ramsey, 7533 Sunwood Drive NW, in Ramsey. Bring the whole family to this free event for an afternoon of fun giveaways and a chance to learn about the products and services of 50 local businesses! We are still accepting applications for exhibitors! Space is limited and available on a first -come basis. Preference is given to businesses located in the City of Ramsey.
