I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br />AIRPORT COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Airport Commission was held on ~ed~esday, <br />September 21, 1983 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Don Greenberg, Acting Chairman <br />Mr. Jack Ippel <br />Mr. Bill Morrow <br />Mr. John Siebert (arrived at 7:52 p.m.) <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan (arrived at 7:52 p.m.) <br />Mr. Ken Patz <br />Mr. Dick Sieber <br />Ms. Jeanne Moen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Peter Raatikka, City Engineer <br />Mr. Larry Koshak, Hakanson/Anderson Engineering <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Chuck Soderholm <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Greenberg called the meeting to order at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec was present and thanked all the members for serving on this <br />Commission. Mayor Gamec stated that Council adopted a resolution setting <br />the direction for this Commission. Mayor Gamec stated that the Airport <br />Commission was formed to study the issue with more expertise and the <br />members should put their personal feelings aside look to what would be in <br />the best interest of the City. City Council is looking to the Airport <br />Commission for advice and ideas. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Greenberg requested that the members introduce themselves. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Morrow - Stated that he resides in Ramsey and he is a private pilot. <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Patz - Stated that he resides in Mound and he is the Department <br />Chairman of Aircraft Control and Flight Training at the VoTech. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Sieber - Stated that he resides in Ramsey, he is not a pilot and <br />he is an interested citizen. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Greenberg - Stated that he resides in Nowthen and he is the AMC/ <br />Oldsmobile dealer in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Ippel - Stated that he resides in Ramsey and he is a private pilot. <br /> <br />Ms. Jeanne Moen - Stated that she resides in Ramsey, she is not a pilot and <br />that she is just interested in the Airport Commission in general. <br /> <br />AP/September 21, 1983 <br /> Page I of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
