Voting Yes: Councilmember Van Wagner. Voting No: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter and Reimann. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. Case 03: Engineering: (A. Authorizin9 Partial Payment To Contractor For Beaudry's Second Addition Street Improvement Pro~ect 083-15; B. Well And ~rrigation System E~u~ment For Central Park; C. Barthel's Rum River Acres Second Addition): a) Authorizing Partial Payment To Contractor For Beaudr~'s Second Addition Street Improvement Pro~ect #83-15 - City Engineer Raatikka stated that he has met with Hardrives andthey have indicated by letter that they will cut out the bad areas and reinstall them in the Spring of 1984. City Engineer recommended holding back $5000 from final payment. The one year maintenance bond is effective from the time of final payment, which will be in the Spring of 1984. Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt Resolution #83-205 authorizing partial payment in the amount of $56,662.00 to Hardrives, Inc. for Street Improvement Project 083-15. Further, that a retainage of $5,000 be held to resolve the 150 feet of street problem on 152nd Avenue NW and 120 feet of street problem on Jaspar Street NW. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-205). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. b) Well and Irrigation System E~ui~ment For Central Park - Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann'to table this case until Council's regular meeting scheduled for the 4th Tuesday in January, 1984. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. c) Barthel's Rum River Acres Second Addition - Council noted City Engineer's letter dated October 31, 1983 regarding the street problems in Barthel's Rum River Acres Second Addition. Case 04: Community School Budget: Mr. Jim Stroscheim and Mr. Marc Hadley were present. Mr. Stroscheim is a member of the Ramsey Advisory Council. Mr. Stroscheim, per Council's action at their meetings of August 23, 1983 and September 27, 1983, reviewed the Community Sc}~ools proposed budget adjustments. MoP,ion by Councilmember Van Wagner to reinstate $2500 into the Community Educ&tion Budget. Co~mcilmember Reimann seconded the motion for discussion.
