Councilmember Reimann replied that if they are benefitting, they should pay. <br />Mayor Gamec replied that at some point in time, the assessment will be paid. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to delete Item 5.A.d and further discussion ensued <br />regarding Items 5.A.b and 5.A.c. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner to adopt Ordinance 083-14 regarding Senior <br />Citizen Hardship Tax Deferral as proposed with the deletion of Items 5.A.b, <br />5.A.c and 5.A.d and to change the income limit in Item 5.A.a to $12,000.00. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Sorteberg stated that Items 5.A.b and <br />5.A.c should remain in the ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />Motion was amended as follows: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner to adopt Ordinance 083-14 regarding <br />Senior Citizen Hardship Tax Deferral as proposed with the deletion of <br />Item 5.A.d and to change the income limit in Item 5.A.a to $12,000.00 <br />(Please refer to ordinance file for Ordinance 083-14). <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 08: Abatement Of S~ecial Assessment On Federal Car.t~.'~d~e Land Dedicated <br /> To The City Of Ramses: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution 083-197 to exempt the Federal Cartridge Corporation from <br />paying the special assessment on the Central Park land they dedicated to the <br />City of Ramsey. ~Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-197). <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 99: A~ointment Of Planning And Zoning Commission Member: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has discussed this issue with some of the P & Z <br />members and they are still comfortable with their recommendation to appoint <br />Terry Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann inquired if Mr. Hendriksen was still involved in a <br />lawsuit with the County. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle replied that he is not, that the issue has been resolved. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by CounciLmember Sorteberg to <br />appoint Mr. Terry Hendriksen to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Bob Isakson <br />which will expire on December 31, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
