I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that Waste Management has made an offer to <br />purchase the landfill. City Attorney stated that he has reviewed this <br />matter with Lefevre and they are preparing a response which they will <br />bring back to Ramsey Council. City Attorney requested a special meeting <br />with Council regarding this issue. <br /> <br />Council directed City Staff to schedule a meeting the week of Cotober 10, <br />1983 regarding Waste Management's offer. <br /> <br />City Attorney then referred to the Methane Gas Project and stated that <br />there is an agreement proposing that Ramsey will basically allow Waste <br />Management easements across property so that the pipeline can be constructed <br />over to Waltek. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />that Ramsey enter into an agreement, subject to the City Attorney's approval, <br />with Waste Management and City of Anoka relating to the Waltek Methane Gas <br />Project. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adjourn the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
