I I I I I f) Authorization To Prepare Plans And Specifications And Call For Bids .W~, 11 And Irrigation S~stem At Central Park - Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter directing the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for well and irrigation equipment and call for bids. Further Discussion= Councilmember Sorteberg inquired where this money would be coming from. Mr. Schnelle replied that it is taken from the total Park Fund Budget and no more money will be budgeted for central Park improvements until 1985. Councilmember Reimann inquired if Community School monies could be used to develop Central Park. Mr. Schnelle replied that would be possible by a motion from Council. I I I I I I I I Motion carried. Voting No: None. g) Finalizing 1983 Public Improvement Pro~ects - 1) Setting Interest Rate- Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to establish the interest rate of 10.5% (simple interest) on assessed street improvement and sealcoating projects. The assessment will equal the principal payment with declining balance. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, councilmembers Sorteberg, R~imann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. 2) Ado~tin~ Resolution Declarin~ Costs to be Assessed And Ordering Prepara- tion Of Proposed Assessments - Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt Resolution #83-136 declaring cost to be assessed and ordered and preparation of proposed assessment for Street Improvement Project #83-1, MSAS Variolite Street NW and 155th Avenue NW. ~lease refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-136). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt Resolution #83-137 declaring cost to be assessed and ordered and preparation of proposed assessment for Sealcoating Project #83-4, Klemish Addition.
