Preparation of Chapter 8, Section 8.01: <br /> <br />Commission consensus is to use Section 8.01 of the Mounds View Charter as <br />a model. <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman stated that his written input from Commission Lichter <br />states some concern regarding appeals. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that Chapter 429, used in conjuction with the <br />charter, will address appeals. <br /> <br />B. ~reRaration of ChapteF 8, Section 8.02: <br /> <br />Commission consensus is to use Section 8.02 of the Mounds View Charter as <br />a model. <br /> <br />Commisssion consensus is to add the following sentence to the end of Section <br />8.02: 'The power to make improvements and levy assessments shall be carried <br />out according to State statutes unless State statutes and this charter <br />conflict in which case this charter shall prevail.' <br /> <br />CC/september 8, 1983 <br /> Page 6 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
