I
I

I
I
I
I
I

'1
I
I
I
i
I
I

I

1) The person or group that is donating the equipment
should first seek conceptual approval from the Park Board.

2) The equipment should then be inspected by the Park
Superintendent to guarantee that it meets existing safety
standards.

3) The City Council is then informed of the equipment and
the City then assumes liability for such equipment.

Motion passed unanimously.

These guidelines should be relatively easy to carry out and give
the City control over future recreation equipment without dis-
couraging citizen involvement.

The Park Board then decided that a LAWCON grant should be submit-
ted for Ramsey Central Park even though it has received conflict-
ing answers in regards to its eligibility for funds.

The meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,

Dennis Donovan
Chairman

/pjc

P & R/July 26, 1983
